Spontane is built by Mosaics Labs Private Limited. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
What we collect
We collect your phone number or Google account details for sign-in, your first name and profile photo, your city and location (only when you use the app), your interests and activity preferences, and event participation history. We do not collect your full name, date of birth, or government ID unless you opt into verified status.
How we use your data
Your data is used to show you relevant plans near you, allow other users to see your public profile when you request to join their plan, calculate your reliability score, and send you notifications about plans and requests. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not serve advertisements.
What we share
Your public profile (first name, photo, interests, reliability score, city) is visible to other users when you interact with a plan. Your phone number is never shared with other users. Location data is only used to find nearby plans and is never stored permanently or shared with third parties.
Data retention
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. On deletion, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. Event history and anonymised usage data may be retained for service improvement.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, contact us at privacy@spontane.in. We comply with applicable Indian data protection regulations.
Cookies and tracking
Our app does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. We use anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used and improve the experience.
